Ayush Ministry expands digital assistants across research and services
The Ayush Grid now includes citizen, research, education, medicinal-plant trade, yoga and investment-support tools.
The Ministry of Ayush has described a set of digital tools built on the Ayush Grid, including the MAISP citizen-information chatbot, a generative research assistant for the Ayush Research Portal and an education lifecycle chatbot.
The portfolio also includes the e-CHARAK medicinal-plant trade assistant, Yoga Saarthi and Nivesh Saarthi. Ministry artefacts are available through a national model repository, while collaboration with Bhashini has made Ayush Grid portals available in 22 scheduled Indian languages.
Why it matters
Health-related digital assistants can broaden access to information and research, but they also introduce accuracy, safety, language-quality, privacy and accountability risks.

Each tool needs a public use-case definition, evidence standard, language-level accuracy measure, clinical boundary, privacy assessment, audit trail and a clear route to human support.
