Rapid Prototyping

02.3

Make ideas tangible early so teams can test form, fit, usability and technical assumptions before committing further.

Customer problem

Digital reviews alone can hide ergonomic, assembly and real-world use issues. Teams need the right prototype at the right fidelity to answer specific questions quickly.

What this helps you decide

A clearer basis for the next commitment.

  • 01Whether a concept works in physical use
  • 02Which design changes should be made before production preparation
  • 03What prototype method and fidelity are appropriate for the next decision
Scope of work

What can be included.

  • Prototype planning and fidelity selection
  • Appearance, form-and-fit and functional prototypes
  • 3D printing and prototype fabrication coordination
  • Test planning and structured feedback
  • Design iteration after prototype review
Our approach

A transparent, decision-led workstream.

01

Define the questions the prototype must answer

02

Select appropriate materials, process and fidelity

03

Prepare and check prototype-ready files

04

Fabricate, assemble and document the prototype

05

Capture findings and update the design

Expected deliverables

Outputs built to be used.

Illustrative engagement

Concept-to-prototype sprint

SituationA product team needs to move from an approved concept to a reviewable physical prototype within a defined sprint.

Frequently asked questions

What clients usually need clarified.

Which prototyping processes do you support?

The process is selected for the question being tested and may include additive manufacturing, model making or coordinated specialist fabrication.

Can you provide small-batch production?

Small-batch support can be assessed when the design, process and qualified delivery partners are suitable. It is not presented as mass-manufacturing capacity.

How many prototype iterations are included?

Iteration count depends on the sprint and the uncertainty being reduced. It is defined explicitly in the engagement scope.
