C-DOT unveils 14 indigenous quantum-security products

C-DOT has unveiled 14 indigenous quantum-security products intended to strengthen the security of communication networks. The portfolio spans quantum key distribution and post-quantum cryptography.
The official release identifies systems including Q-AKSHAY, Q-SETU and Q-MAHASETU and describes different performance tiers, including a 40 Gbps system.
Why it matters
Cryptographic migration is a multi-year engineering challenge. Organisations need to identify vulnerable systems, align with evolving standards and introduce new controls without disrupting existing networks.
SCULTRA interpretation
The launch expands India's domestic quantum-security toolkit. Independent assurance, interoperability and deployment evidence will determine how quickly the portfolio moves from announcement to critical infrastructure.
