DNHDD development claims span infrastructure, tourism and manufacturing

A public address in Silvassa has set out a broad development account for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu over the past decade.
Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan cited more than 450 infrastructure projects worth over Rs 13,000 crore, about 800 km of roads, two major hospitals, 21 new schools, more than 7,500 manufacturing units and 12 MW of solar capacity on government buildings. He also said tourist arrivals rose from about six lakh in 2021 to nearly 50 lakh in 2025.
Why it matters
The figures describe a concentrated regional model linking public infrastructure, social services, tourism, manufacturing and connectivity.
