NLMC prepares 459 RINL land parcels for Visakhapatnam e-auction
The proposed sale covers 93,572.21 square yards across HB Colony and Auto Nagar, with plots ranging from about 129 to 2,728 square yards.
The National Land Monetization Corporation held an investor meeting in Visakhapatnam before an e-auction of 459 land parcels belonging to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited.
The properties cover 93,572.21 square yards in HB Colony and Auto Nagar. Individual plot sizes range from about 128.94 to 2,728 square yards, and the investor outreach was scheduled to continue in Vijayawada and Hyderabad.
Why it matters
The auction will test the government's land-monetisation process and may influence RINL's asset strategy as well as local property supply.

A credible process needs clear titles, disclosed reserve prices, broad bidder participation and transparent reporting of realised proceeds and their use.

An investor meeting is not a completed auction. The release reports no bids, valuation benchmark, sale proceeds, transfer date or final buyer information.
