India and Denmark deepen MSME, innovation and IP cooperation
A joint working group in Copenhagen covered technology adoption, commercialisation, intellectual property and cluster-led support for smaller businesses.
India's Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office held their fourth joint working group meeting in Copenhagen from 24 to 28 August 2026.
The programme covered technology adoption, intellectual property, technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship and cluster-based MSME development, alongside visits to Danish innovation and business-support institutions.
Why it matters
Smaller companies often face gaps between technical capability, protected intellectual property and market access. Cross-border institutional links can expose firms to different commercialisation models, industry–academia networks and cluster support.

The cooperation is directionally relevant to innovation-led MSMEs. Its practical value will be visible only when the working group produces accessible programmes, identifiable partners, funding or market pathways that firms can use.
