The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence reports finding 19,800 firecracker units weighing about 10,000 kg in a container at Nhava Sheva port.
The agency says the shipment, valued at about ₹3 crore, was concealed behind declared cargo of bottles and wallpaper. It also reports arresting a person it describes as a key member of the syndicate handling the attempted clearance.
